The first day of the NWT Evaluation Symposium, which will take place at the Chateau Nova, will follow a traditional conference format. Program highlights include: a keynote address on decolonizing evaluation by Dr. Nicole Bowman (Mohican/Lunaape); a panel on Indigenous approaches to evaluation featuring Indigenous evaluators from around the world; and breakout sessions and poster presentations exploring themes such as community-based research, collaboration, knowledge translation, and decolonization, with a particular emphasis on land-based programming.
*Please note: Breakfast, lunch, and nutrition breaks are included in the symposium registration fee.
**The Thursday Evening Social is taking place at the Yellowknife Ski Club. Participants will arrange their own transportation to the Ski Club, which is a short drive from downtown.
